13 Days Uganda Safari –
Uganda is located along the Western arm of the Rift Valley, characterized by different landscapes, but unified by the presence of the green colors and green hills. A wide and different experience of the African landscape and culture. This tour is a full immersion in the true nature, the forests and biodiversity. You will encounters cultures and traditions of the East African region. You will follow the river Nile at Murchison Falls in Uganda, descending along the Albertine rift escarpment down to the “Gorillas in the mist” Bwindi.
Safari highlights include:

– Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest
– Wildlife viewing with a lot more.
Safari itinerary can be as follows;

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kampala.36kms from Entebbe
On the arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Kampala,
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja Town. (Approximate driving time: 2.5 hours-81kms)
Drive this morning eastwards to Jinja town through scenic views of sugarcane and Tea plantations that give way to the Mabira forest. Engage in (white water rafting, bungee jumping, visit the source of the mighty River Nile or relax enjoying the views of the Bujagali waterfalls. Drive back to Kampala arriving late evening.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls (Approximate driving time: 8 hours-305kms)
Leave Kampala driving northwest towards Murchison Falls National Park with and tour at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a nature walk to see the rare rhinos in the wild. Lunch break in Masindi town then continue to Murchison falls and after a long day’s drive relax at your lodge this evening.
Day 4: Game drives, boat cruise in Murchison Falls
Today is a bit relaxed starting with a game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. Lunch break at the lodge then proceed for a boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. This is an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles along the riverbanks and many water birds.

Day 5: Top of the falls & Transfer to Hoima (Approximate driving time: 8 hours-140kms)
After the breakfast you will be transferred to the top of the falls, from there you will transferred for hot lunch in Masindi Court view ,after lunch where you will have your night.
Option: After arrival you can either go for swimming pool or go to town for guided evening walk where you can get opportunity to interact with locals.
Day 6: Transfer to Fort portal the capital of Tooro kingdom -196kms
Situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” the Rwenzoris is this humble royal town. Relax this evening reserving energy for the following day’s activities alternatively engage in a short stroll in the town visiting the Tooro King’s Palace or the crater walk. Enjoy touching story telling as these bring you closer to the culture of the Batooro tribe.
Day 7: Chimpanzees in Kibale forest (Approximate driving time: 2 hours-113kms)
After early breakfast, head to Kibale forest for Chimpanzee trekking and after lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park as you view crater lakes, 75% of this transfer gives a lot of opportunity to view wildlife, Mountain Rwenzori sceneries and also a stop at the Equator.

Day 8: Game in Queen-
After early morning game drive ,for looking out for kobs, lions,elephants, hynes ,buffallos, warthogs, among others. After game drive you will have your lunch then after you go a boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
Day 9: Bwindi National park (Approximate driving time: 3 hours-133kms)
After breakfast you will be Transfer to Bwindi national park through the rolling savannahs of Ishasha. Look out for the tree climbing lions checking in at your accommodation for overnight.
Day 10: Gorilla experience today
After the routine briefing by the wardens in Bwindi National Park the adventure starts. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding experience. We ensure you bring with you enough drinking water and packed lunch which is included in this itinerary. Enjoy the whole hour with these gentle apes alternatively if not trekking, engage a nature guided walk to the waterfalls and later to the nearby community for a village walk. When you are back in the evening you can engage in nature guided walk in the near community and visit the pigmies.
Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (Approximate driving time: 2-3 hours-65kms)
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi; a lava dammed lake resulting from volcanic activities. Relax this day to the cool breezes of the lake, have a canoe ride and enjoy local cultural entertainment.

Day 12: Transfer to Mburo (Approximate driving time: 8 hours-256kms)
After breakfast you will be transferred to Lake Mburo Np having lunch in Mbarara town as you watch long horned cattle. Check in later and may be engage into a brief evening game drive time .
Day 13: (224kms) Wake up early morning to engage in nature walk which gives you the opportunity to view animals on foot after which you come back to the lodge for breakfast and then transfer to Kampala. Lunch at the Equator and engaging in shopping with crafts ,then after transfer via Kampala to the Airport.
